Hi,

I am in California and I see nothing yet that says to up my dose. I have upped to 50 mg, but seem to need to pulse dose at that level for detox as I get a lot of itchiness at 50mg.... I am sure I have a lot to detox.

On the East coast, I can't imagine anything getting there unless they have a major, catastrophic meltdown... that has not occurred yet.

I think we have to watch and be wise, but not be sensationalistic about the news.

OK, this is probably a really dumb question, but does explosion mean meltdown of the nuclear reactor? In other words, is radiation headed our way now? Or, as Pamela was saying, is any of this being contained? I can't get a feel from the messages on here as to whether the emergency has happened and we need to up our iodine (and we're on the east coast of the U.S.) or whether it's still just imminent (or likely).

Mix 148 grams potassium iodide with 100 ml water; if it doesn't all dissolve, add about one tsp more of water. It's a saturated solution, so you want to make sure all the crystals dissolve.I believe they do overnite shipping but not positive.Ariel

Nevermind.... has a story right now that discusses this. Apparently the nuclear core is contained so no meltdown at present, although both plants are having problems. -AngieOn Mar 12, 2011, at 7:40 PM, Totten wrote: OK, this is probably a really dumb question, but does explosion mean meltdown of the nuclear reactor?
