Ivermectin is a wormer that is given to horses and dogs that includes addressing pinworms and I have read articles that is has been used for pinworms in people.

However, Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth is said to be effective as well as it will affect parasites in the digestive tract, but not those that live in other tissues. Certainly less toxic than Ivermectin but it is all a personal choice.

Perhaps the iodine at higher doses will take care of the problem?

He is lucky to get rid of them. Likely most will do this and not know it since they are small. www.humaworm.com sells effective parasite removal stuff. Think vetenarian sites might have more information on pinworms. Sometimes they have safer and saner ideas than human doctors on these things. Pam
