All off topic posts should go to the IodineOT group IodineOT/ Buist, ND Owner / Iodine Group Re: Iodine..who has truly benefited? Hi Nonie,What about raw milk? Is it bad as well and why? I follow Weston Price Foundation dietary guidelines and they seem to love raw dairy. Many cultures around the world have traditionally consumed milk and were healthy.Thank youAlina>> > Grains are not really healthy. Avoid bread. Wheat, like, soy , has been touted as healthy.."the staff of life", but, it causes destruction of the gut and leads to auto-immune diseases...cancer, arthritis, thyroiditis, ms, ibs, etc. One of the reasons it is so difficult to stop is, just like dairy, it causes morphine like substances in the body..hard addiction! > > There is a lot of scientific info from Dr. Zagon's research.> > Nonie> > >
Guest guest
I've been on this group reading for some time now, I've tried Lugol's solution a few times but quit taking it. I was unsure if this was for me never been tested for iodine deficiencies or never having money for the companion supplements I set it aside. I was diagnosed in January of 2007 with bladder carcinoma, no biopsies, no nothing! Yes, I know that it's cancer from an MRI that was done that shows the tumors plus an ultra sound confirmed later that it has grown. I'm taking low dose Naltrexone now and I'm wondering if I can take iodine along with this. How much should I start out on and how much should I work up to or Should I be tested first? I'm waiting to order more iodine as soon as it's available but wonder which form is the best for cancer? I had gone without the LDN for a couple of weeks and now am in pain in my right hip and bladder area. I just know that I need to do something soon! Guest guest
Many people take both if I am not mistaken (, one of our moderators is one of these I believe). You don't need to absolutely take all the supps with the Iodine Protocol. I don't. A must is selenium otherwise you may get thyroid problems to add to the others. But I don't take the vitamin B supps or the magnesium. This considerably reduces the cost. I took them in the beginning, but not now. Have you also investigated bi-carbonate of soda in the fight against cancer? There is a guy called Simoncini, an italian, who seems to have had some success with this. He is a bit contraversial but many people claim to have had some success with bicarbonate of soda. It is non-invasive and does not interfere with other treatments. Cheap and easy to administer too! Guest guest
Fermenting them actually causes goitrogens more. The article you linked by Masterjohn explained why. I was hoping someone may have heard of the salt sweat for removing them. > > Fermented Vegy's do not have a goitrogen effect Sauerkraut is fermented and > is great to help digestion and is the highest form of Vit C you can get from a > food. Guest guest
Actually, I think it is very important to take all of the companion nutrients, as they help the iodine work better. Guest guest
Many people here take iodine without testing, & adjust dose by how they feel. If you take more than you need, it just gets flushed out. And it is generally held that people with known cancer should take LARGE doses. So I would dive right in, if I were you. I would also try not to run out of LDN or iodine. YOu want to keep the train moving in the right direction.AnneOn Mar 17, 2011, at 6:51 AM, bk4529@... wrote: I've been on this group reading for some time now, I've tried Lugol's solution a few times but quit taking it. Guest guest
Anne, Are you saying that I should not be taking LDN (low dose naltrexone) along with iodine? I should take one or the other? LDN is usually used for alcoholics or drug addicts but has also helped heal cancer and other diseases. Is there anyone on the group who uses LDN along with iodine? Guest guest
I use both. They are completely compatible. Many people taking iodine also take LDN. I posted about this with Barbara in the subject line. -- At 04:57 PM 3/17/2011, you wrote: >Anne, >Are you saying that I should not be taking LDN (low dose naltrexone) along >with >iodine? Guest guest
I am using LDN and also lugols iodine -one drop- both recommended by my Dr. I don't like the taste of the iodine. I need to go off of ldn once every 3 days to give my body a break. What is the problem with taking both in the A.M.? I am trying both of them and I need to adjust to them. I think the iodine is for my fibrocystic breast disease. joyce > > > Anne, > > > > Are you saying that I should not be taking LDN (low dose > > naltrexone) along with > > iodine? Guest guest
For the fullest benefits of LDN it needs to be take in the evening before bed. It works with hormone levels and all that jazz. I take my Iodoral at 5:00 am with the companion nutrients. I'm so happy I was able to give LDN another try since I had bad side effects 4 months ago. I thought going off my morphine would be long enough before starting LDN but obviously it wasn't.I also was putting the disolved LDN is a large glass of water. I now take it with a gulp of water. It really doesn't taste like anything. I've tasted worse things in my life. The iodine you could put in juice or water. Plug your nose if you have to that way you won't taste it. Heck chase it down with a sip of coffee still plugging your nose and you shouldn't taste it.I love the iodoral better. I have celiac's and crohn's disease and it is so much gentler for my insides. from IllinoisFrom: joyce <jamkaye1@...>iodine Sent: Fri, March 18, 2011 11:01:12 AMSubject: Re: Iodine..who has truly benefited?
