Has anyone used Lugol's for ear infections?

If you've ever used Lugol's for ear infections please let me know how did you

you it and what was the outcome? We're trying to get a 6 month baby off

antibiotics. He's had 2 ear infections already.

As an experiment I just tried 2 drops of 2% Lugol's in one of my own ears that

has been mildly infected and don't recommend it. At first it hurt then I just

felt weird. I'm waiting for suggestions before I try it in the second ear for

me. I'm assuming the dose will have to be very diluted for a baby.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
