Guest guest
Recent blood tests reveal: Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies <10 (Ref Range <35 IU/mL) My Thyroid Antibodies <20 (Ref Range <20 IU/mL) My Thyroglobulin 38.1 H (Ref Range 2.0-35.0ng/mL) Is this something? The endo circled it. I can't find anything about the thyroglobulin unless it refers to cancer and/or removal of thyroid. I still have mine. No surgery. Thanks so much. Guest guest
There is a correlation between higher thyroglobulin (Tg) levels and iodine deficiency: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8031964 Tg is a protein used in the binding to iodine process for thyroid hormone creation. The body creates more in an effort to have more opportunity to produce more thyroid hormone. Buist, ND Confusion with Test Results--I have no idea-- Thyroglobulin levels?? I tried reading it but it is a bit technical for me. ~~Barb > > There is a correlation between higher thyroglobulin (Tg) levels and iodine deficiency: > http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8031964 > > Tg is a protein used in the binding to iodine process for thyroid hormone creation.
