Guest guest
I do take ALL supporting supplements including sea salt in water. I still had the air hunger this morning - mild but only at 12.5 mg. Within 1/2 hour of drinking the salt water. It was worse at 25 mg last year. I was taking supporting supplements then, too. Pamela > > READ this: iodine/files/01%20NEW%20MEMBERS%20-%20READ%\ 20FIRST/ > > Has the Celtic Sea Water drink info. Let me tell you the water saved me. Almost gave up many times. But understanding that all those symptoms were the detox and that the salt water helped, kept me going. Do NOT use regular table salt. Do NOT. It MUST be unrefined salt (ie: Celtic, Himalayan, Redmond's) ONLY. Very, very important. It will help you immensely. I hope this helps you. > ~~Barb
Guest guest
Air hunger is a sign of low thyroid and possibly adrenal fatigue. How are your levels for one or both of these? Guest guest
Thyroid labs are from a few weeks ago. Retesting adrenals is out of the question - no money. Guest guest
What is "to bowel tolerance"? I've been recommended to do that...but I'm not sure? Sorry...new here :- From: Linn <mwm1glm@...>iodine Sent: Thu, March 17, 2011 7:24:43 AMSubject: Re: So what do you do to avoid detox effects? Then make sure to support adrenals naturally as well as you can. Keep your sleep patterns normal, regular bedtime and wake up time. Eat meals on a regular schedule and try not to go too long without a meal or snack. Make sure you're getting enough salt (very important), Vit C (you can increase this to bowel tolerance), magnesium (increase to bowel tolerance also, plus many symptoms of adrenal fatigue are actually a magnesium deficiency), Vit E, and B vitamins. A product that provides amino acids can be very beneficial. Undenatured whey or something similar. The Metagenics Ultraclear that Steph recommends is a great product, although it is expensive. True Whey is a good product also and you can get that from Vitacost usually for about $25. A greens formula can be a good source of B vitamins.Linn > > > >> > > > Air hunger is a sign of low thyroid and possibly adrenal fatigue. Guest guest
Magnesium and Vit C both can cause loose bowels at higher doses. With magnesium, a dose of 400 mgs is good to start, but many people require higher doses, especially if adrenal fatigue is present or trying to detox fluoride. You can increase magnesium in smaller doses, say 100 mgs. I take 800-1000 mgs/daily myself now, but for a long time, I took 1200-1400 mgs. For those with adrenal or fibro symptoms, magnesium can work wonders. You'll want to take it in intervals during the day, same as Vit C. I take mag with every meal and again at bedtime. Guest guest
I started using the magnesium glycinate and a slow-release Vit. C which really helped decrease the bowel issues.
