Hi all,

Has anyone heard of the following combo. for dissolving breast and/or thyroid

nodules?

My nurse practitioner didn't simply recommend Lugols painting on the girls, but

a very specific protocol: 6 drops Lugols + 6 drops DMSO in Vitamin E oil rubbed

on lump/lumps once daily.

This came, secondhand, from one of the naturopaths at Jonathon 's clinic.

Any successes w/it, any failures, any thoughts? Best, Kira

I personally think it is more efficient to use DMSO because there is no

evaporation. Not everyone agrees with that here.

I've heard of it before, just be careful with using DMSO as it will carry

anything on the skin into the body.

Kira,

Typing DMSO into the search box of this forum will give you several bits of

dialogue to read through, including a discussion of the molecular weight of

iodine which can be transported by DMSO. One of the discussions involved just

how far would it go past the dermal layer ... but rather than repeat that here

it would be best if you read it yourself.

I have read several articles from Dr. about his clinical uses - one

article on his website that has comments about SSKI & DMSO is quite interesting.

Dr. Stanley s books are a great reference for those wanting to learn more

about DMSO.

An excerpt from from Dr. 's website about what DMSO carries:

" Rumors of DMSO's ability to transport chemicals through the skin have been

greatly exaggerated. DMSO will carry a minimal amount of other chemicals with a

molecular weight of less than 1000 but will not carry bacteria or viruses. "

From the accounts that I have read people that learn how to use DMSO are

generally quite happy with the results. Best to join the DMSO group to discuss

how to prepare and apply it.
