Guest guest
Hi, I listened to Wolf, then part of the water talk. We live in Portland, OR and we get our water from the mountains. I started worrying about the water we would be drinking. Flash back: I was in Germany at the time of Chernobyl, lived in Konstanz which is on the Lake of Constanz. The radiation traveled south and Konstanz was a place they did lots of testing. I gardened in the rain the following Sunday. It was the first rain since the disaster. My friend took a walk in that rain. I continued to live in Konstanz, bathe and cook in the water (no one drinks tap water in Germany) and swam in the lake. I really don't think I have radiation contamination nor do I have cancer according to a live blood test by the best guy in the country. The one thing that we were warned about was eating local lamb. I'm not going to get in a frenzy over this. Been there, done that. Joan
