Dear Friends, We are getting closer and closer to the date of the NAA-NEO benefit concert in Akron and Cleveland! Now with less than two weeks to go, I wanted to invite you all to attend and support these events! We are very excited about the upcoming concerts as our performers are nationally acclaimed artists and tickets have been selling fast, too!! We want you to be part of them as well, so please read on to find out how to secure a ticket for these benefit concerts that are unique in many ways. As you may know, this is only our second year of operation with NAA-NEO and I can truly say that we have accomplished a lot in a very short time. We've built a great infrastructure and have been able to implement our programs primarily via our

website at www.autismnortheastohio.org. We organized a few workshops too in 2007 and 2008. We have reached out to local families and to many autism groups and service providers and asked for their support and collaboration. Most importantly, we have awarded over 60 grants to families that raise children with autism and struggle daily to cover the cost of interventions and therapies. In order to fully fund these families' requests, we must raise more $ through the upcoming benefit shows, the first being held in Akron at Musica on February 28 and the second one the day after on February 29 at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland. All of the funds raised will go directly to support the families that applied for financial assistance from our organization in 2007. Every ticket sold will help pay for speech therapy, occupational therapy, tuition,

consulting fees, respite care, biomedical therapies, doctors appointments and co-pays, behavioral therapy, just to mention a few of the services that were covered by our Helping Hand program in 2007. We hope to continue to be able to provide these grants to families in the greater Akron and Cleveland area in the future and to further expand what we do so that we can fill the gap in services that are available to us today. You can become a part of these efforts by simply attending our concerts now and by encouraging others to buy tickets as well. This is an easy way for people to do good in an affordable and fun way. So mark your calendars and plan on having a great night out on the 28th in Akron and on the 29th in Cleveland! You really don't want to miss these shows! Donations in any amounts are also welcome. Below you

can find more detail and downloadable fliers for both events - just click on 'view flier' to do this. Please email me at this address or call 216-544-1231 if you have any questions!
