liver function test does not says much about the ability of the liver to detox.

there are expensive test to show that and there are some simple ones.

Now, what about my liver? I had a liver function test before I started LDN and it was fine. My overall cholesterol was high a year ago, but my LDL was very low, so there was no concern expressed. If the thick skin on my feet is somehow connected to liver, I've had a problem for a really long time. I do not think this is a fungal issue. I've had athlete's foot and it really does not seem the same at all.

Iodine is good for candida, yes?I'm weighing out the adrenal/thyroid thing (hope to get saliva cortisol testing done in the new year) to see how to best treat.Jaye

Jay,Take the sugar out of your diet, all sugar for candida. And yes, that yellow tough skin on our heels has to do with too mush candida in your gut. Google candida diet and read through that then you'll understand. from IllinoisFrom: "jprocure@..." <jprocure@...>iodine Sent: Fri,

, that yellow tough skin on the heels could be a large plantar's wart.

You can destroy it by soaking the heel in apple cider vinegar for long periods

daily. The heel will then turn black, and start to crack at the edges. If

candida is present, it will ooze out through the cracks and form black scabs.

The process is extremely painful, but will get rid of the parasites (plantar's

wart and candida) that feed off you.

I don't have that problem. No sugar for me and I never had callouses on my heel. I was trying to help someone else. I've got enough other problems I don't need that too. from IllinoisFrom: Yochanan <yburkett@...>iodine Sent: Sat, January 1, 2011 7:42:02 AMSubject: Re: liver, and RT3

That's an interesting connection. Again, the skin just doesn't look 'fungal'.

It isn't itchy or yellow. If anything it's more gray...kinda like elephant

hide!

Jaye,Here is a link to the mayo clinic sight about athletes foot. The typical you hear about it only the moist, cracked hurting kind, but thick skin on the bottoms of feet is also athlete’s foot. I actually learned about it from a mainstream athlete’s foot cream ad in a woman’s magazine. Donna in Il http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/medical/IM03573 >>Now, what about my liver?
