It is part of the thyroid supporting nutrients. Some feel beneficial effects and others do not. It is not part of the iodine protocol.

hi,do you think tyrosine is needed for treating hypothyroidism?thyroid gland makes thyroid hormone from iodine and the amino acid, tyrosine but here I've read a lot of old posts and haven't seen tyrosine mentioned much.Susa

I have adrenal problems and blood pressure way too low anyway...
