I think most of us here take it with food, but I don’t know if it matters. Some days I take it at breakfast, some days I take it 2 hours later. But if you are having that much success after only 6 weeks at 25 mg, just keep on doing what you are doing! You are very fortunate. While I have had great results, they took over a year to show. Some don’t get healing that fast. Donna in IL I was wondering, as I have gotten conflicting advive, when to take iodine. Is it on an empty stomach or with food. I take Iodoral. Also should I avoid taking it at the same time as Vit. C?Thanks for the great info on this site. Have lost ten pounds, skin and hair have a renewed glow, energy level is back to normal after 12 years of fatigue, sleep is deeper and I wake up more rested, sores on my finger that have been there for 25 years ( and no doctor could get rid of them ) have dried up and gone away, joint pain gone, swelling in ankles and fingers gone (I can now wear my wedding ring and I havent been able to do this for 3 years). Thank you Iodine- been on it for 6 weeks 25mg.

It has been recommended by the iodine doctors to take with food.

thanks Donna for answering my post. I am very happy to have such a quick

response to the iodine. It could be from being on Vitamin D 5000IU for

the past year. That did help with my symptoms, but not to the extent

that the iodine has. I aso forgot to mention that I had fibrocystic

disease and my breasts are much softer and no swelling. Iodine was the

key that unlocked the door back to me.
