Guest guest
Emu oil would heal anything in the layers of skin. Very little is needed. I found after (3) weeks of 10 drops in water brushed on each breast, that my breast-skin became really dry, papery and wrinkled!! My poor boobies are all wrinkly now, dry and a bit flaky. I'm not young---50 y.o.---but they look like the breasts of an 80 yo woman. I tried suspending the Lugols in Castor after I started to notice this, but after three applications I stopped because it didn't soften the skin. Anyone's experiences? Is this permanent? Solutions? Vitamin E oil? Coconut Oil? Any help will be appreciated. Kira
Guest guest
I sometimes paint Lugol's on the palms of my hands to soften the fibrous growths on the tendons that control several of my fingers. If I do so for five or six days in a row, my skin begins to dry, crack, and flakes off (looks very ugly). If I quit for about a week the old skin finishes flaking off and I have new, soft, normal skin. I would think that if you just quit putting on the Lugol's for a week or so, your skin should clear up, and might even look better than before without doing anything else. I doubt that there will be any permanent skin damage. I take 50mg of Iodoral a day and am not even sure that painting my palms adds much benefit. I think most of what is applied by painting evaporates and is not absorbed. > > Hey all, > I'm looking for a bit of advice on re-softening my breasts after Lugols. > I found after (3) weeks of 10 drops in water brushed on each breast, that my breast-skin became really dry, papery and wrinkled!! Guest guest
I would think coconut oil would help, too.AnneOn Mar 31, 2011, at 1:03 PM, Kira wrote: Hey all, I'm looking for a bit of advice on re-softening my breasts after Lugols. I think most of what is applied by painting evaporates >and is not absorbed. Topical application has been shown clinically to result in systemic iodine. So yes, for sure topical application works. We have had women who were taking 50mg and more daily internally, whose cystic breasts or uterine fibroids didn't start clearing until they started painting (on the other hand, my breasts responded to internal iodine). Also, many people have found that their goiter and/or nodules on thyroid started shrinking once they started topical application. I do agree that stopping the Lugol's for a while until your skin clears up is recommended. has been painting extensively for some time. I don't think 3 days is a fair chance for the skin to respond to the castor oil. But when you start painting again, I would use coconut oil/castor oil combo as has recommended. -- > > > > > Hey all, > > I'm looking for a bit of advice on re-softening my breasts after Lugols. > > I found after (3) weeks of 10 drops in water brushed on each > breast, that my breast-skin became really dry, papery and wrinkled!! Guest guest
It's not permanent, just take a break for a few days. Some folks alternate painting each breast, that gives a break every other day to each breast.
