A way to estimate this would be, if humans can take 200mg with no problems,

then say if the human was 150 pounds then that would be 1.33mg per pound of

weight. Your rat weighs 2 pounds, so say 2.66mg per day.

If your Lugol's is 2%, that would be about 1 drop. I think you could

easily give him 1 drop, 3x per day. I would give it nasally, or alternate

nasal and oral. It should not sting or anything.

This is just my thoughts based on doing some math and thinking about the

situation. The iodine won't hurt him in any case. Dr Derry proposes

intravenous iodine treatments for cancer because of how powerful and

nontoxic iodine is to the internal tissues, so you could use even more than

I'm suggesting.

You can go to the Whole Foods Market and buy a liquid garlic for the ear. I forgot the name it's something like Wally's mullein ear drops

Thank you ,

I have lugol's here and detoxified iodine. Since I use Ioderal what do you think the dilution factor should be. He weighs probably only 2 pounds.

I'm sorry, Sage, I didn't see your question until now. I don't think it

matters too much medically, the main reason we dilute it is because we

don't like the taste.

I hope that he's getting better.
