Guest guest
I like to take inulin fiber in water most days. Not that my diet is lacking in fiber.. but just in case. Apparently, to help in elimination you should go 3 times a day. I don't usually. There is, from what I read so far, a real need to have very good elimination during the iodine protocol since it seems to stir up a lot of toxins in some people. As for salt, I already get a healthy serving of sea salt in my daily stir fries and soups. Its mentioned that potassium chloride can be useful if salt is not used. So I just add the potassium chloride and stay with my current level of salt which is on the high end of recommended daily.. I consume about 3/4 tsp a day... but I drink a fair amount of water as well. Any comments ? Does this all seem reasonable ?
Guest guest
Are you taking unrefined sea salt? That is what you need. If what you are using is white, it has been refined and is not healthy for you. You need unrefined sea salt that has all the nutrients left along with the sodium. Guest guest
Hello Donna, Yes I take a salt from France called " Paludier " . It is grey and a bit course. I also use their " surface salt " or " fleur de sel " as they call it. All of the best, > > Are you taking unrefined sea salt? That is what you need. Guest guest
Is it really true that if salt is white, it has been refined? I've been using sea salt that I bought at a health food store that is pretty much white. It comes in large, very course pieces. The label states that it is pure, UNrefined and all natural, from the North French Atlantic coasts. > > Are you taking unrefined sea salt? That is what you need. Guest guest
No there are some that come from France that are white and are unrefined. But I think that the more color they have the more mineral content.
