Guest guest
Hi Please add the lab ranges. Without those, the results are not comparable. When I was waking up like that at night, it went away with adequate magnesium taken before bed, and progesterone cream. Iodine also helped my sleep cycle. Donna in IL My main complaint is that I wake up each night at 2-3 a.m and can't sleep for several hours. My salivary cortisol levels are low during the day and high at night, so that would explain it, but why?I had ultrasound (pending) of my adrenals, kidney and bladder and through quite a few tears asked the US technician if she would check my thyroid. I couldn't believe she did it without an order.I told her I've been trying for 2 years to find out what is going on with me. So she said my thyroid has a hand full of small nodules, one measured 3 mm. She said everyone she's scanned has them and wouldn't be referred unless 1.5 cm or greater.I've had all the thyroid tests imaginable:TSH 1.230T3 free 2.9T4 free 1.20Thyrotropin R, Ab less than 0.51Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) 6Antithyroglobulin AB <20Thyroxine Binding Globulin 21I had Hakala labs do my iodine levels recently as well as 2 years ago. After 50 loading dose my % excreted 2 years ago was 70.This time it was 85% with bromide 34.32mg and fluoride 1.56mgI am not on iodine but do consume sea vegetables in my diet.Any ideas folks? Thanks,Jean
