Guest guest
Kira, I think it's very likely the Lugol's would get an ovarian cyst to disappear, but I'm not clear as to whether you intend to use it transdermally on the abdomen or apply it directly through the vaginal canal. If the later, I think Lugol's "straight" used internally would be too hard on the vaginal tissues. I have been using Lugol's mixed with castor oil and/or coconut oil vaginally to deal with a long-term candida problem. The one time I didn't use sufficient oil, there was a *very* unpleasant burning sensation. I On 3/24/2011 4:48 PM, Kira wrote: Hello all, Kira here. I know that some of the wise women on this board will be sure to have an opinion or suggestions on the following: Does anyone have experience with either painting Lugols on the skin over our ovaries to get cysts to disappear; and/or to swab ourselves vaginally with Lugols for same result? A naturopath recently suggested that I swab the walls of my cervix with Lugols in order to get an ovarian cyst to disappear. Any opinions? Thanks & Best, Kira

Guest guest
Janet, For a vaginal infection. I'm assuming the infection I have is the last"hanger-on" of the full-blown, full-body candida that I used to have but no longer appear to. In truth, it could be some other kind of infection -- but iodine works on fungi, bacteria and viruses, so whatever I have, that's what I'm using the iodine for. You might wonder why I don't see a gynecologist and get a diagnosis. In general, I try to avoid all doctors, and in this particular case, I don't want to endure the use of a speculum which, as I've aged, has become horrendously painful for me, no matter how much cream is used. Guest guest
Interesting . Thanks for sharing your situation. So iodine is good with viruses. I'm recently been diagnosed with lyme and other tick co infections. Wonder if anyone is using iodine to help with that. I'm currently doing 8 weeks of homeopathic remedies trying to avoid doing antibiodics for now. Guest guest
Janet, I have lyme and taking at least 100mg of iodine a day has helped me more than anything else. An acupuncturist/ND recently gave me Chinese herbs and homeopathic drops for lyme and I have been able to cut my iodine way down. I'm now getting NeuroModulation Technique treatments and BodyTalk, both energy medicine modalities and I think they are going to get me on track. I use Terri Dodge for the NMT. At one point, I upped my dosage to 160mg a day to whip my gum disease/parasites into shape but now I'm on 50mg a day. I can't believe that they suggest taking antibiotics when iodine is the natural killer of viruses and it supports the immune system. Antibiotics ruins the immune system. I found a true story a daughter wrote about her dad who had lyme. He lived to the ripe old age of 90 because iodine was a common part of his everyday life. Something else to consider is to find all of your interference fields (Klinghardt). Lyme loves to live in blockages and most of us have plenty of them. Lyme isn't a walk in the park but its even worse without iodine. Joan > > > Interesting . Thanks for sharing your situation. So iodine is good with viruses.
