Sally Fallon, of Weston Price, said the white rice Asians and anybody else eats

is easily converted by the body into cholesterol. Thus, the mostly vegetarian

diets Asians eat still have adequate cholesterol. I've also heard that brown

rice scrapes against the intestines, possibly causing leaky gut so I'm thinking

I should just use white rice.

90's.. no health issues other than her grandfather can't hear as well as most

people. They follow a simple traditional rice based diet. So they are somewhat

of a contradiction to the idea of cooked grains not being good for you. It makes

me wonder if maybe Asians digestive systems are more adapted to grains ( rice)

than North Americans. We stir fry veggies daily and eat very little animal

protein.. rice is a side dish. That agrees with me. Whether its the healthiest

diet for me I don't know. I wish my thinking was sharper. Maybe the iodine will

help with that.
