Guest guest
Hi Ali,I definitely find a correlation between my digestive transit and sciatica. When I take herbs that promote good liver and bowel action, any trace of sciatica or back pain disappears. I put that down to sluggish bowels creating pressure on nerve endings. I haven't noticed that iodine, on its own, alleviates this, but if it works for you, that's great!Cheers,Deborah in the UK >> Interestingly, when I get accustomed to a certain dose of iodine sciatica, pain in my left butt cheek returns and bowel movements become a bit less easy & frequent.> > When I up my dose of iodine, now 10 iodoral per day, my sciatica goes away, and BM's come more easily.> > That means sciatica & elimination have less to do with anything than a more balanced hormonal state/an increase in progesterone.> > > Anyone else find these correlations to be true?> > Ali>
Guest guest
Absolutely. A large mug of ginger tea, I fill the bowl, and the sciatica goes away. Guest guest
I use fresh ginger and I don't allow the water to boil. I think that makes the tea bitter. Just steep the sliced ginger for 10-15 mins and drink. A little raw honey helps.
