Guest guest
This product has soy in it. Soy causes problems for the thyroid especially in males. Just thought I would share what I have learned. I've take soy out of my diet because of this. from IllinoisFrom: ido zahavi <zahavi100@...>iodine Sent: Sun, April 3, 2011 1:39:25 PMSubject: Re: Will Iodine help HIGH cortisol levels? you can study this product for high cortisol. not exactly this brand http://www.iherb.com/Natural-Factors-PS-Phosphatidylserine-100-mg-60-Softgels/2659?at=0 On Sun, Apr 3, 2011 at 8:27 PM, alagonza2000 <alagonza2000@...> wrote: Is this all under "Adrenal Healing"? Guest guest
Can anyone tell me how you go from low cortisol to high cortisol? I thought it was usually that you began with high cortisol and then it became low after your adrenals became fatigued. Guest guest
When I took HC it was " 7.5, 5, 2.5 " Will using iodine help the high cortisol? Since my labs look the way they do, I am guessing my adrenals are NOT healed... The shaking has gotten better as long as I eat every 3 hours a protein and healthy fat. What about using a gladular? I really don't want to go back on HC. Lori > > > > Is this all under " Adrenal Healing " ? Guest guest
what about Isocort??? My daughter is on 4 at morning, 2 at noon. She is trying to up her am cortisol and lower her night cortisol.... It is a glandular but does not seem to have the adrenaline in it like whole adrenal glands which can cause some to get hyped up... Isocort helps if you are trying to up your cortisol- like only on the times it is too low,. Actually, Holy Basil is what is supposed to lower cortisol...... ahhh, the complexities. Also, ashwanda and rhodiola are supposed to be the adaptogens to try... use the dosing on the bottle. the other things I take for Adrenal healing are: from Dr. 's adrenal fatigue pantothenic Acid- a B vitamin- up to 1,000 mg B6- 50 mg (I just take it in a B complex) Vit. C Magnesium Licorice root- it helps with aldosterone???? How are your thyroids??? do you have them tested??? Guest guest
I also went from low cortisol to high, or so it appeared. It may have been that my adrenals needed some thyroid hormone, and when I switched from dessicated thyroid to T3, they finally kicked into higher production. That is a guess. Adrenal misregulation is what I would call it now. My cortisol shoots up with exercise (normal) and then it doesn't come down for a day or two. This triggers headaches, neck spasms, nausea, and exhaustion. > > > > > > > Is this all under " Adrenal Healing " ? Guest guest
I think you would really like HC if you took it FOUR times a day--try 5mg 4X a day. maybe you can heal adrenals with iodine and other stuff--you will have to experiment. I like HC myself. gracia On 4/4/2011 7:51 PM, alagonza2000 wrote: When I took HC it was "7.5, 5, 2.5" Will using iodine help the high cortisol?
