Hello. My name is Katy. I'm 46 and been detoxing heavy mercury a few different

ways this year. I used Iodoral for a few months and got fed up with the

disgusting acne that developed on my back almost instantly when I started it. I

stopped the Iodoral and the acne went away. So I experimented and started it

again...again with the acne. I've read some old posts about acne and see it's a

bromine detox symptom.

So...how long do I use Iodoral and at what dose before the acne clears (and I'm

assuming then, the bromine clears?) ?

Where dose bromine toxicity come from?

How much Iodoral were you taking? Were you taking the companion nutrients while you were on Iodoral? (Vitamin C, Selenium, Magnesium, Celtic Sea Salt). also drinking water, at least half our body weight in ounces daily, can also help move the toxic halides out of our bodies. Toxic halides are everywhere...in our cars, computers, rugs, furniture,water, etc., so it is a constant job for us to help the body detoxify them, not only bromine, but also chlorine and fluoride. If it were me, I would take Iodoral again, making sure I took the companion supplements, salt and water. Best of luck, Kathleen

Thanks for the quick replies. I think one tablet of Iodoral is 12.5 mg and I was taking one or two a day. I was taking a lot of vit c at least 3000 mg a day and using topical magnesium. We use only Celtic sea salt. Not sure about selenium. At one point I was using it then read something about toxicity and got nervous about the use of selenium so I backed off. How soon did you develop the acne? I

tried Lugols for the first time earlier today and could swear that I have

breakouts around my chin area already!! Could it happen that quickly?

As unappealing as acne is, I would happily take that over the disgusting layer

of cellulite that seemed to form all over my body shortly after I started

iodine...and it doesn't go away after stopping iodine...Actually, months later,

nothing seems capable of getting rid of all it.
