I am currently reading the book, The Magnesium Miracle, by Carolyn Dean M.D.,

N.D.

While she highly recommends magnesium citrate as one of the most absorbable

forms or oral supplementation she does say to take 300 mg twice a day. I don't

know if you are taking more than that at one time or not. If so that could be

part of the problem. An even better way to take magnesium is to use magnesium

oil [magnesium chloride]. Most of these products seem a bit expensive but my

wife and I have been getting it from Swanson Vitamins and find it to be working

wonders. You simply massage it on your skin and it is absorbed that way. You can

also soak your feet in it or add it to your bath.

Epsom salt is magnesium sulfate and that may help as well but from what I have

read magnesium chloride is much more effective.
