He should have his testosterone levels checked. How old is he?

Husband losing hair, he started on iodine 2-3 weeks ago

My 35 year old husband finally started taking iodine with me a few weeks ago. He started on one drop of Lugol's and this week went up to 2 drops as he didn't seem to be having any bad symptoms. He also takes a full spectrum whole food vitamin and extra selenium. The iodine has helped so much with upping his energy level, improving his mental clarity, and feeling more positive which have all been huge problems for him for years. Now a few days ago his hair has started falling out much more than usual. He has extremely thick hair and has never had hair loss issues.I have been taking 2 drops of Lugol's for 1 1/2 years. I have only experienced temporary hair loss postpartum, in fact the iodine seemed to thicken my hair. Is the iodine causing him a problem? Is it dosing, a coincidence, detox, etc.? Does anyone have any insight?I don't want to cause him problems but I also don't want him to quit, he hasn't felt this good since he was a teenager. Thanks,

Thanks, he's 35 years old. He just had blood work done at the doctor's but I

don't know if testosterone was one of them. He hasn't gotten the results back

yet.

I'll try a higher dose and up his salt intake. I was really suspicious it was

detox since it just started happening.
