Guest guest
Here are some Thyroid doctors: PENNSYLVANIA1) Dr Ruth , DO, Bedford Wellness Center Bedford, PA. 2) Dr. Lipton D.O.; Narberth Family Medicine & Acupuncture Center; 822 Montgomery Avenue, Suite 315, Narberth, Pennsylvania 19072 610-667-4601 Fax 610-667-6416 Says a member: He doesn't know everything but he is willing to learn and listen and work with you. He does use desiccated thyroid and does read what you bring in. I never feel rushed and I always feel like he answers all my questions. I also get adjusted when I go to see him. 3) Dr. Roy E. Kerry, Advanced Integrative Medicine; 17 6th AvenueGreenville, PA 16125 (Western Pa., close to Ohio border) Phone (724)588-2600; Fax (724)588-6427 Dr. Kerry uses a holistic approach to health problems and has a strong interest in environmental medicine and hormonal issues -- particularly hypothyroidism. He's big on T3 treatment, but will happily put you on desiccated thyroid. Tests the free's, cares little for the TSH, one of the very few who TRULY listens to his patients. 4) Dr. Adler; 201 N. Main St.; Plains, PA; (570) 270-4699 Dr. Adler 'partly' meets the criteria to be on this list: he is willing to test free T3 & T4, and he is willing to order desiccated thyroid. But...he's a TSH worshipper. So you may have to fight the latter. The patient who gave me his name self-treats beyond where Adler will let her go in order to get her free T3 towards the top of the range, and be rid of her symptoms. 5) Dr. Overbeck, MD 1100 Fayette Street Plymouth Meeting, PA 19428 (484) 868-0916 Dr. Overbeck takes insurance he really takes the time to listen, he really wants to solve the root cause of your problems. He'll test and do whatever he thinks it necessary to find what’s going on. "Our speciality is focusing on the adrenals and thyroid by examining lifestyles, nutrition, and other areas not investigated by other dr's. We take a multi-level approach by using desiccated thyroid and supporting the adrenals appropriately during therapy. The use of Cortef is an option depending on the each individual case." Guest guest
Hi Barbara, I am your neighbor here in town and love working with my ND. Her name is Suzanne Peppell. She actually lives in Wilkes Barre. She just had a baby though and is a little busy. J She’s wonderful to work with. I just don’t know how she views iodine for certain. I hope that helps!! It’s nice knowing someone is so close by! Lori [iodine] Re: Dr. in PA wanted I am looking for a new doctor in Eastern PA. I live half way between Philadelphia and Scranton.
