Lugol's can irritate the skin with repeated paintings. Your breasts will be

fine, just skip a couple of days. Some folks paint alternately, one breast

every other day, to give the skin a break.

Thank you Linn,

But what concentration should I apply? 2% or 5%?

I've only used the 2%, so not sure about the 5% being more irritating. It's

usually just from repeated use on the same areas.

How many drops do you put on one breast?

,From past posts, many people have kept the irritation from the repeated application at bay by mixing the drop with some form of lotion or oil, coconut oil or castor oil. Or paint on the iodine, then rub on some of the oils. Donna in IL I've only used the 2%, so not sure about the 5% being more irritating. It's usually just from repeated use on the same areas.
