Guest guest
Lugol's can irritate the skin with repeated paintings. Your breasts will be fine, just skip a couple of days. Some folks paint alternately, one breast every other day, to give the skin a break. Guest guest
Thank you Linn, But what concentration should I apply? 2% or 5%? > > > > Hi, > > > > several days ago I was applying Lugol at 1% on my breasts and it was fine. > > > > Today I switched to 5% and now my skin of my breasts is burning, right after the application. > > > > Is this normal? Guest guest
I've only used the 2%, so not sure about the 5% being more irritating. It's usually just from repeated use on the same areas. Guest guest
How many drops do you put on one breast? > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > several days ago I was applying Lugol at 1% on my breasts and it was fine. > > > > > > > > Today I switched to 5% and now my skin of my breasts is burning, right after the application. > > > > > > > > Is this normal? Guest guest
,From past posts, many people have kept the irritation from the repeated application at bay by mixing the drop with some form of lotion or oil, coconut oil or castor oil. Or paint on the iodine, then rub on some of the oils. Donna in IL I've only used the 2%, so not sure about the 5% being more irritating. It's usually just from repeated use on the same areas.
