Guest guest
, very happy to hear all is well, you did the right thing! Kathleen Re: My 2 yr old drank my iodine! Ladies, Thank you for all of your responses! They were a bit late in coming, I thought my email must have been lost in the shuffle! Luckily, I did not call poison control because they probably would have pumped her stomach and rushed her to the ER and it would have been SO traumatic! She broke out in little bumps on her body and did not sleep well last night, but other than that has been acting just normal. So, nothing life threatening. I will try an epsom salt bath, xtra vit c and sea salt. She probably drank .75 oz. Maybe I should have done something more extreme but it just didn't feel right. Thank you! Guest guest
I am so glad you kept your cool & had your intuition vindicated. That will make it easier the next time you decide to do something "weird." Learning to trust your body & your mind is the hardest part of the journey. We have been taught fear for so long, & we have had our confidence undermined for so long.I'm betting she will sleep after her detox bath.AnneOn Apr 7, 2011, at 11:24 AM, Hopkin wrote: Ladies,Thank you for all of your responses! Guest guest
That's great . When you do the epsom salt bath try adding some hydrogen peroxide too. The two have been good for detoxing issues. You can also pat that combo on her skin if the is bothered by the "bumps". Buist, ND Re: My 2 yr old drank my iodine! Ladies, Thank you for all of your responses! Guest guest
you absolutely did the right thing! The little bumps are the bromides coming out through her skin. As I said in my response, all that would happen would be uncomfortable detox symptoms. I recently took several doses that were 4 times what I had been taking. Although I initially reported no detox symptoms, that turned out to be the lull before the storm. My hubby and I both got very strong detox symptoms that were debilitating. We've gone back down to 50mg. You really did the right thing. And yes, detox baths and the Vit C and sea salt will really help her. Also, some brazil nuts for selenium. -- At 12:49 AM 4/8/2011, you wrote: >, very happy to hear all is well, you did the right thing!
