Guest guest
, As I understand it, our troops were given shots that CONTAINED high levels of PYRIDOSTIGMINE BROMIDE. They were not inoculated against it, rather WITH it. The reasoning was that if Saddam had unleashed any of his chemical weapons, they would be protected. Sad part was, nothing protected them from the Bromine, unless they already happened to be sufficient in Iodine. Further, Bromine attacks the central nervous system, hence the name " Gulf War Syndrome " where many felt suicidal, had " Dark " thoughts, depression etc. The government is now trying to decide if it will compensate those suffering from PB's effects. What a nice way to say THANKS, huh? > > Apparently, after the Gulf War some soldiers were given bromide innoculations. Are these a good idea ? Safe ? > Are they available to those with serious bromide issues or exposure ? > > Be well, >
Guest guest
That's so unfortunate. I have a friend who has issues due to training to operate despite the potential unethical use of gases. This meant exposure to diluted unlawful war gases. This was many years ago. Hopefully we have learned from our mistakes. They are all in my prayers. > > > > Apparently, after the Gulf War some soldiers were given bromide innoculations. Are these a good idea ? Guest guest
I have a friend who served on a ship who didn't get a shot, but STILL got Bromine exposure. He worked first hand with the ships drinking water treatment, and they used Bromine he says to treat the water. He took Iodoral along with me and boy did he ever have a heavy detox! It was too much for him and he had to back down on his Iodine level. So many paid a high price for us... > > > > > > Apparently, after the Gulf War some soldiers were given bromide innoculations.
