test results... what do I do now?

Hello, My mother-in-law has been taking Iodoral (recently 50mg/day) and

supplements as suggested on the breast cancer website, however, I'm not sure of

the dosages. She was supplementing with Iodoral on her own based on something a

doctor had told her. She did not do the loading test prior to supplementing, so

I don't know what her levels were prior. She had recently told me that she

wasn't noticing any benefit from the 50mg and I suggested she do the 24 load and

bromide instead of upping the dosage.

These are her results. What do these mean and what should she do next? She was

off the Iodoral prior to testing.

Iodine

24 hour excretion = 43.2 mg (0-50mg/24 hour)

% excretion/24 hr = 86%

Bromide

24 hour excretion = 34.9 mg <10mg/24 hour

Estimated bromide serum levels = 69.8 mg/L
