Guest guest
Hi I have read on this group about how vitamin c inactivates iodine. Is this only when iodine is placed on the skin or when taken internally as well? I currently ingest Lugol's iodine, and I take all the supporting nutrients. I take the salt and vitamin c together at least two hours away from the initial intake of iodine. Is this enough time apart? Any input would be appreciated. I am very grateful for all of the help and support I have found on this group. Thanks, Deborah
Guest guest
I listened to a radio show featuring Dr Fleshas and he advocated Ester C. I don't remember him saying it had to be taken separately from the Iodoral. > > I and a couple of the iodine doctors ingest both iodine and vit C together w/o any issues. I eliminated thyroid cancer by doing it this way so I don't think there is an issue. Remember what happens in the body is different than what we see in a test tube. > > > > > iodine and vitamin c > > > > Hi > > I have read on this group about how vitamin c inactivates iodine. Guest guest
Steph, Thank you so much for your reply. This information will make it easier for me to take all of my supplements in a timelier manner during a 24 hour period. I have lyme disease and I have been following a salt/c protocol which requires much more salt and c than the iodine protocol. It was becoming harder to fit all dosages in as I increased salt and c with the lyme protocol. Many thanks, Deborah
Guest guest
The c only interacts with Lugol's, not iodoral.Nonie > I listened to a radio show featuring Dr Fleshas and he advocated Ester C.
