Was wondering if there is anything I can do about possible stomach upset with taking the lugols. I am already on a twice daily dose of aspirin - after being desensitized to it a little over a year ago now, I have had little problems with stomach upset with the aspirin until increasing my dose of lugols - am now taking 50-60 mg lugols/day. Am afraid that things might progress and get out of hand. Any thoughts or suggestions will be appreciated. Today I am going to take the lugols with lunch instead of breakfast and lunch, as I take the aspirin with b-fast and dinner. I will see if this makes a difference.

May I ask why you are taking the aspirin? It is known to cause stomach problems...Iodoral is easier on the stomach than Lugol's, so switching might help. There are a lot of things in the average health food store that sometimes help with digestive issues -- if you are up for taking more supplements.AnneOn Apr 19, 2011, at 8:38 AM, Cole wrote:

Hi Jaxi and ,Have you seen a previous post from baxrox? he made a point that there is a connection with vit B deficiency or something, see if he post again or you can find that post. Just as coincidence yesterday morning I got I tinny bit nauseous -I have never been. Remembered that and have the vit B complex right with my iodine, it did go away immediately. You might review your B's dose and needs. From: jaxi <jaxi.schulz@...>iodine Sent: Tue, April 19, 2011 12:37:01 PMSubject: Re: stomach upset.

I have Samter's Triad which is associated with a severe allergy to salycilates. I went through aspirin desensitization, which calls for a daily dosing of aspirin to remain desensitized. I resisted doing it for over a year then decided to do it as I was really having problems. So glad I did.

Stomach was much better yesterday after taking Lugol's just at lunch when I do not take the aspirin. It wasn't nausea so much as stomach crampy feelings.

Aspirin will burn holes in your stomach. No wonder you had a stomach ache taking the two close to each other. From: Cole <rightwithme1@...>iodine Sent: Wed, April 20, 2011 1:23:17 PMSubject: Re: stomach upset.
