Guest guest
Dear Janet Some of the iodine websites do say that iodine can sometimes cause symptoms of hyperT similar to what you're reporting. Your doctor may want to lower your hormone dose or adjust iodine accordingly, you should check soon. Stan In a message dated 4/18/2011 6:09:31 P.M. Guest guest
A few things I see here: 1. Iodine can cause the thyroid to function better so you may need less. 2. Iodine can stress the adrenals by detoxing which may cause heart rate issues. 3. When you say 1 tablet are you referring to 12.5 mgs or 50 mgs. With hashi's sometimes higher doses are better because it creates iodolipids which stop the oxidation process when enough hormones are created. Please see the new member document - Dr Brownstein book excerpt. 4. If you are not doing the companion nutrients with hashi's you are not doing your body any good. It is a symphony of nutrients meant to support your system. You need selenium, magnesium vit C and unrefined salt at the bare minimum. You will probably continue to have issue until you do the full protocol. Buist, ND In a message dated 4/18/2011 6:09:31 P.M. Guest guest
It could be another thing from my experience. Do you drink lots of water and enough salt to help your adrenals? When I don't, it doesn't take long for my pulse to raise.DebbieFrom: ladybugsandbees <ladybugsandbees@...>Subject: Re: Rapid Heartbeat & Iodineiodine Date: Tuesday, April 19, 2011, 7:16 AM A few things I see here: 1. Guest guest
You can add the Vitamin C and salt to the water. That is how I have done it for 4 years. Only made the mistake of drinking too much water all at once twice so far. That can end you up in the bathroom as too much C for me in too short of a time by being too casual on measuring the C...
