I never went on T3 and my doctor does not use it for RT3 issues. He does liver cleanses. If you have stress the cortisol also affects (negatively) the RT3. You have a lot of things to balance to get it under control. Your sweet cravings are more than likely adrenal or many that have cravings have candida issues as well.

getting off HC with Iodine?> > > > so I'm on T3 and HC since January this year.> I started Iodine over a month ago, now 25mg and have started reducing HC. Adrenals get really stressed when on T3 alone, but I actually feel I need a little less HC while on iodine. > > I think if supporting adrenals with vitamin C, sea salt, panthothenic acid, and b-complex plus companion nutrients for iodine mg and selenium maybe then HC would not be necessary? my adrenal fatigue is mild to medium. Or maybe replace it with licorice or ashwagandha... I never tried these before.> > My only detox symptom from iodine is extreme fatigue and cramps in my feet, I had to stop taking it for two days but now I'm back. It seems that mg does not absorb at all, I recently bought mg chloride and it does help with the cramps best.> > When I get the adrenals figured out, I want get off T3 too. I have Erfa waiting. or should I switch already? clearing rt3 is never going to happen in my body anyway, it's been now 14weeks already. my temps are up a bit but brain fog and dryness of skin and hair is really bad...> > do you think upping Iodine to 50mg or more would bring benefits in my case?> > Susa>
