I started Lugol's 2% just before having my amalgams replaced with composite and

have since started oral chelation. I am definitely mercury toxic and in the

process of all of this, I also found out I have low sodium and am hypothyroid,

even though my blood work is in range, per the lab's standards, which I know

doesn't say much.

So anyway, I am working up slowly, because adding more than two drops every few

days causes me to have headaches and eye pain, it's almost like a pressure

feeling in them, weird. I noticed that before I had my fillings replaced, the

symptoms were much worse and I couldn't increase past 5 drops without issues.

After having the fillings replaced, the symptoms are much less, if at all,

unless I get too gung-ho and add more than a few drops.

Something else I've noticed since having the amalgams removed is acne around my

neck. It's painful, large acne. Is this bromine, like I have read or do you

think this could be related to a faster detox of mercury, since the jawline is

where the mercury was held all these years? I noticed that during chelation

this past weekend I was sweating severely at night and had some of this same

kind of acne around my hairline on the back of my neck from it. The acne on the

front of my neck and under my jawline is recent though, not during a round of

chelation. I am just wondering, if I should do something different or if this

is par for the course? Will it eventually stop?

Also, how quickly should a person increase to reach 50mg (that is 16 drops,

right?)? And do we just stay at that dose indefinitely?

Thanks a bunch! I've read the welcome file which were so kindly e-mailed to me,

but I can't refer to any other files, because I have a Mac. Sorry if any of

this is redundant.
