As I'm young, healthy, have a very clean diet apart from caffeine and the odd whiskey, my body should not be 'leaching' much iodine nor need much detox. I watched 'Iodine: The most misunderstood nutrient' by Dr Brownstein where he mentions 50mg would take months to reach saturation. That's fine - these things are best done slowly. I did take 150mg a day shortly after I first started, but felt the need to back down. I also take magnesium malate, a B vitamin complex, 5,000IU's of vitamin D, 200mg selenium, Carlson's fish oil, and 1 - 3g of vitamin C (Before bed) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
