congested liver and iodine

Hello and happy new year to all,

I am on NTH and HC(trying to lower from 40) but not iodine (yet) and have

suspected for a while now I might have a congested liver and am also recently

experienced edema 2 x's (stopped my sea salt and it went away) so not sure if

kidney issue too.

As iodine detoxes would it be advisable for me to make sure that I my liver is

optimium as well as my kidneys before I start.
