Guest guest
Have you checked with any of the local rec centers? We were looking for this for our son as well since he loves the water, has no fear of how deep it is.. but has no clue how to swim.. We found that middleburg hts rec, berea rec and brook park all have learn to swim programs and will offer 1 on 1 lessons for special needs children if they can not handle being in a learn to swim class with a 1-1 aide.. maybe check with the Bay Village Rec? I've heard they have someone at their water park there that is great with lessons for children on the spectrum.. Good Luck! I'm looking for a place where they have experience with children with special needs (either private lessons or class). I know of LifeWorks in Strongsville, but I need some place closer on the west side. Anybody have luck with the YMCA in Westlake? > > Thanks, Eileen > > > --------------------------------- > Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
