Guest guest
Corry,Sorry I didn't answer immediately. I was busy. My comments are after your comments,"Your right about the kelp, but the one I take is from a GMP company so suppose to be tested for those pollutants, but you never know."I try to do that also. I get it from Iceland for my goats, We drink the milk, eat the meat, so far so good."I just know it makes my hair nice and soft, which is usually dry and helps me with energy. "I used myself 2006-2007. It was helping me some with my energy also. It was not enough, too many bromides, chlorides and fluorides around, and maybe not enough because I was not having the companion nutrients. Even I was supplementing my own food with kelp and selenium and more minerals."Lugols works great, but I'm not sure about the dosage and seem to break out when I take it."Lower doses were not enough for me. If I lower to 75mg I break out. Everybody is different. "Unfortunately there aren't any doctors like Dr. Brownstein here in canada, and none of the naturopaths I have been to think we need any more iodine than we already get in salt. "Sorry to hear that. I don't have a doctor either. I see it as a blessing! I have control of my health. I keep learning and getting stronger by myself. (I'm not looking to start a fire, I know there is a lot of people that disagree, but everybody knows their own needs). Fortunate we are, he has written books, as well as there is a lot of research available in this list and on the net to get a lot ideas. Always looking for a way that will make me strong to the core in the simplest and safest way, a lot of times is not easy to find or do."Meanwhile our water if full of chlorine and we have bromine in our environment."That's one reason why a lot of us get enough Iodine from Lugols' or Iodoral with the companion nutrients. If you feel happy with kelp great! your must be doing something right with your overall health that's what it matters. Cheers!
Guest guest
Actually the kelp isn't enough, but just something that helps slightly. I'll probably switch back to lugols when I can figure out the right dosage. Thanks for your input .
