Guest guest Posted January 28, 2011 Report Share Posted January 28, 2011 Dear Iodine experts, I think I'm understanding that TSH can rise when taking Iodine/Iodide because it's stimulating NIS Symporters to get to work getting the iodine into the cells. Is this mechanism any different for people without thyroids? Will they also experience the TSH rise? Just checking to see if that mechanism involves the thyroid gland or not.
