Hi,I just thought I would share and have a question. I started the Iodine and companion nutrients protocol in October 2009. It helped enormously with depressed feelings & thoughts, muscle pain, knee problems and general energy levels. However, my (unearned) weight never shifted. My family eat more than I do and remain slender.

I eat all fresh, mainly organic and locally sourced meat and vegetables. I do take care over having a healthy diet and plan meals so I get a broad spectrum of foods. Due to the weight not shifting despite so much effort being made, I lost hope last December and stopped the iodine protocol altogether. In the last week, I became aware that my old symptoms were coming back. So, out came Lugol and Friends. The difference after just two days is noticeable. So, I'm back on the regime.

But does anyone have any ideas about the weight and how to get my metabolism moving faster? Thank you!Deborah in the UK

Hi,

Thanks. I wouldn't go near my GP as they would simply sneer at all of this.

I believe my thyroid and adrenals have been low for many years. An Ayurvedic

physician confirmed this. My basal temp has been low for years too. I was hoping

the iodine protocol would help, but it doesn't seem to be enough.

Thank you for this.

Do you happen to know which Cytozyme as there appears to be a variety of them:

http://www.nutri-linkltd.co.uk/products/categories/glandulars/

And do you have any clue how to set about getting a prescription for GTA Force

if your GP won't go near this?

Sorry for all the questions, but this feels like the next important step

forward.

Cheers,
