Guest guest
Hi Folks, Does iodine protect one from x-rays? I stated that it does on another forum and someone is it only protects one from isotope radiation (not that I know the difference). Am I wrong? I would love a link or at least the correct information. Thanks, joan
Guest guest
No not in the manner you are thinking about. It does protect against I-131 radiation. It is also used in the process of apoptosis which is programmed cell death of abnormal cells. But it does not *protect* you from things like dental x-rays, etc. Buist, ND radiation protection from x-rays Hi Folks,Does iodine protect one from x-rays?
