Can anyone please shed light on iodine and oxalates? Iodine chelates the halogens and some heavy metals. But does it also remove the oxalates? You know oxalates are reponsible for kidney stones and gout.Thanks.------------Ratan Singh, Phone: 91 141 2652561, mail: ratanpsych@...- Certificate in Food & Nutrition; Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education; Life Member, Nutrion Soc. Catharine Tamaro is an autism mom who has done some good work on oxalates & vitamin K. (Among other things, she recommends supplementing with K2 to reduce oxalates.) She owns a group, & can be found on the web with a Google search.AnneOn Apr 20, 2011, at 9:06 AM, psych doc wrote:

My gout cleared up completely by getting my liver back to health between iodine, diet and also metagenics ultraclear ph shakes at 5 pm and just water after that for 3 weeks like a mini fast which cut the blood test results in half.

Seems like they mention chlorella for removing heavy toxins but not sure what works on oxalates. Possibly bentonite would work. Not sure though. You could get K2 from nattokinase  like this link. Nattokinase is considered a food supplement but also helps guts to be rid of biofilm that blocks minerals and vitamins absorption, helps remove fibrin that causes blood clots and vericose veins(5 months for 30 years worth) and K2 helps to get calcium on bones. Take every 12 hours for bloodclots. I had 7 in a year's time prior to natto 4 years back.
