Question for an acquaintance

Hi,

An acquaintance from a German lyme board called me yesterday, from germany, to

tell me what happened to him when he took two tabs of Iodoral. He had been

taking 12.5 mg/day for a week, then decided to take two. He felt like he was

going to have a heartache and was very scared. He said he felt hot afterwards.

He was fine on 12.5mg. He forgot to take selenium so I reminded him to do that

but I don't have any experience with these kinds of reactions. The first thing

that came to my mind was Hashimoto's but wouldn't he have had that reaction on

12.5 mg also? I don't know. I told him to join this forum but I don't know if

he will do that.

I am the one who told him about iodine and I certainly don't want to be

responsible for doing him damage. What does this sound like?
