Guest guest
Hi, I am new to the group. My name is Jian Chu. We are going to move to Cleveland in May, although we have not decided which area to live. We need inputs to choose the school district. We have two boys 7 and 4 (will trun to5 in May). My younger one is on the ASD spectrum. He is currently in a self-contained preschool class. We are thinking of CCF autism center or mainstreaming kindergarten . Does anyone have any experience with the CCF autism center? do they use strict ABA or more generalized to the environment? Do they do lots of intervention for social skills?. If we go there, will it be easy to get autism scholarship from the state? Also can anyone suggest some school districts good for both my ASD boy and my typical boy? Sorry for so many questions. Any input is appreciated. Jian
