Iodine possibly affecting UA?

My husband started iodine about 2 weeks ago. Taking about 50mg in a combination

of lugols or sometimes iodoral. Strangely the UA he had done this morning to

start a new job, the lines werent showing up as they should. It doesn't say he

is on drugs it just didn't read out properly or normal. He has never had this

problem and is not on drugs. They are going to send it out for further

examination and call him from the lab. He spaced out about mentioning he has

been taking iodine. He was trying to think back if it was something he ate and

in shock since he's never had one not pass. Any help with this is greatly

appreciated, Thank you.
