Cuyahoga County MRDD Toddler autism class

Hi everybody, if anybody has a child around 2 there is a county autism

class for the younger crowd. Six children, 2 teachers, plus speech, OT

and music therapist, 4 days a week, 6 hours a day. I went with my

toddler to visit today and we are going to give it a try in September.

I don't know if anyone on this list has kids that young, but it is a

new program and the waitlist is not long...I put him on it less than 2

weeks ago and our number just came up. I thought that was odd but the 3-

4 year old classes have much longer lists because they are more known,

and because identification usually takes place later. Philosophy is

primarily P.L.A.Y. project/Responsive Teaching. I will be able to give

more details when we start.
