" Tools for Encouraging Communication " (Milestones Organization),

Presenter: Jill , SLP from the Beachwood City Schools and

KidsLink Neurobehavioral Center.

This series is for families, caregivers, or tutors interested in

learning about different strategies and tools to encourage more

communication from their non-verbal or verbal child.

Jill will provide you with and understanding of:

*some frameworks and terminology often used to describe your

child's communication for better understanding of what professionals

working with your child are referring to and where they should be

focusing for a better understanding of your own child's strengths and

needs to help you to know where to focus

*goals and strategies for communicators at various levels of

communication skills and who use various modes of communication and

how these strategies can be implemented by various individuals in

various settings

$30 per person, $45 for two family member/caregivers (must register)
