Guest guest Posted May 10, 2008 Report Share Posted May 10, 2008 Workshop for Medina County Families Introducing Your Child to the School District - Transitioning from Help Me Grow Special Education Empowering Kids and Medina County Help Me Grow will be providing a FREE Community Workshop on Saturday, May 31, 2008. Lyke from OCECD will present " Understanding and Writing an IEP " . Participants will gain a working knowledge of how the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process works and what specific information is to be written in an IEP document. S.E.E.K. will present an interactive session helping families create a take home booklet about their child for the school district. Target Audience: All families in Medina County currently receiving services from Help Me Grow as well as families of children in preschool & kindergarten eligible for special education services. Location: Medina City Library -- 210 South Broadway -- Medina, Ohio 44256 Time: 9:00-9:30am Registration / 9:30 - 12:30am Presentations Registration is required.
