When the new school year begins for many next month, I would strongly advise parents to ask if their child's school has an isolation room. You may be very surprised to learn they have one. If so, I'd ask to see it. And, while you're looking at it, decide if it's the kind of thing you want to have used as an "intervention" for your child. If not, speak up...and put your request for it not to be used on your child in writing. It may be the best thing you ever do.
