HI everyone, I just wanted to let you know about an upcoming conference that sounds very interesting. I attached the link to the registration page. The name of the conference is: Facilitated IEP's Making Them Work For You! Barb Rutt spoke at a meeting that I was at last night and told us about this new service avalable to parents throught the State department. It is free to parents and you would use it if you have a dispute with your district, but not quite at the mediation process yet. They will assign you an independent facilitator at no charge who will come to your IEP meeting. They will act as a neutral party to help solve the issues. This conference will explain it all.
