Guest guest Posted September 7, 2008 Report Share Posted September 7, 2008 One last update...We have tried to design a variety of social skill programs at KidsLink this Fall that are appropriate for a wider range of children and ability levels.For kids with Asperger disorder or HFA: - SUCCESS club = elementary age kids and pre-teen social skills classes - CALM kids = social skills and anxiety management - Teen Group = 13 and upFor ages 3 and up with some language impairments: - Social communication groups (multiple age and ability level groups available; child is screened prior to the group for appropriate fit)For children and teens with limited language and/or cognitive impairments: - Discovery Club = life and social skills recreational groupMore details at www.kidslinkohio.com.Hope to see you all at the Autism Speaks walk.
